Please read the following email from John Norsworthy and fill in the table below.

Hello Mark

At the end of the term at conference our AGM comes up. We have always had reports from the Chair, Secretary, treasurer, and the membership - schools via the regional coordinators and others via the secretary. These reports do not need to be long as we convey news by various communication regularly these days. Some regions have sent in quite large reports and others brief, so to make it easier and uniformly brief I have decided to send you a standard form to complete with info you have collated from the schools. Please find yours attached. This report relates to the year July 08 to July 09. I want to send out the notes to the meeting about a month before, so I would appreciate you sending this to me by the end of August at the latest.

Ashburton Christian School	Y1-8	Tim Kuipers; 2	2 classes 2 full time teachers, 2 part time. successful ERO visit this term (see July 27 newsletter for summary on www.acs.school.nz) 32 pupils possibility of gaining integration by year's end
Aidanfield Christian School	Year 0 - 10 155 pupils	Mark Richardson Teaching staff; 13	Huge developments in the past 2 years. We are working carefully and hopefully innovatively with the new curriculum for 2010. A Focus on the KC's as the heart of the curriculum with next step learning drawn from the KCs and a foundation of biblical principles which link to the principles and values of the school and NZC. Involvement in AtoL contract, second year numeracy contract and numeracy sustainability with the PD that this brings. We are enjoying the 15 different countries represented in the school - a wonderful cross cultural mix at all levels. We have established a new name, logo and image with a renewed vision through 2008 to 2009. Significant pressure is coming on the roll and we await with baited breath the result of our roll increase application to go to 200 then on towards 300 pupils. We note with thanks the strength of working within a Christian Schools network within Christchurch with the collegiality, support and challenge that this beings.
Hillview Christian School	Y0-10; 505 pupils	Steve Frost(Acting Principal) 31 Teaching Staff	Have added a new 4 classroom block half-way through last year Have crossed the 500 pupil threshold Will have 2 classes at every Y0-10 level by the beginning of 2010 Appointment of new principal to be made by August 2009 Application for roll increase to MOE by August 2009 Planning to build new gymnasium by 2011 Established a clear direction for implimentation of New Curriculum and should be ready by 2010 Updated school website
Middleton Grange School			Principal has returned after a successful term 2 sabbatical New strategic objectives following ERO visit Implementation of revised NZ curriculum from a special character perspective going very well A further maximum roll increase of 60 pupils has been approved. Max roll 1200 Classroom walk throughs-these have begun by senior management New Performing Arts Centre-Planning for construction well advanced Highly successful school production-"Oliver" A new Bot Chair-Andy van Ameyde Enrolment Season progressing well 8-10 staff going to NZACS Conf.
Emmanuel Christian School	Y0-8 138 students	Jill Garrett 10 teaching staff	We have a beautiful new car-park and...... ...........officially opened "the factory" with bright and spacious classrooms!!!! At the start of this year we established a Senior Management Team with the appointment of a DP: Head of Primary and Team Leader with responsibility for the Junior School Many. many hours have been spent in developing The New Zealand Curriculum with wdespread consultation and research The BOT continued to subsidise staffing in order for us to have a 7th classroom in operation Draft concept plans have been drawn up for new and improved buildings Our busy Fundraising Committee is working towards building a specialised playground for the Senior students Plans are progressing towards the inclusion of Years 9 & 10 at the school Praise the Lord for the many new families who have come into our school community

Amana Christian School			The Lord continues to bless Amana and we priase Him. Our school roll continues to increase steadily and we are supporting an increasing number of Homeschoolers by including them in school activities. Two of our students have recently left for Thailand with their parents who are working as missionaries with SIM. Work continues to establish the Early Learning Centre with a proposed opening date towards the end of August.
Richmond View School	Yrs 1 – 8 Roll = 107	Murray Ramsay 5 teachers + principal	Slow roll growth. BOT considering going for a higher roll cap from the 120 we presently have. Currently constructing a new library from a relocated office building. Winding up a 2 year LPDP programme school wide focusing mainly on writing. This has been most successful.
Nelson Christian Academy	Yr 1-8 Roll= 124	Chris George 6 teachers + Principal	Appointment of new principal January 2009. Exciting roll growth. We have another school coming to us to do their yr 7-8 technology MOE funded NZC slowly being grasped Interact finally being used
Tasman Bay Christian School	Yr1-8 Roll= 70	Lyn Hough 3 teachers + principal	Completion of successful year long Indepth Literacy programme 2008 focusing on writing. Steep increase in roll at the beginning of 2009. Positive ERO review March 2009. Steady development of new curriculum focus- values in 2008/ refining vision 2009 and participation in Moutere Hills Cluster teacher only day round effective teaching. Building project currently underway- new library and junior classroom block. Application in to raise roll cap from 75 to 100
Christian School's Network			Cooperation between the network schools continues to strengthen Relationship with the ministry is very good and are making good progress with successful maximum roll applications Achieved first successful Policy Two application-2 classroom assistance for Aidanfield Christian School.
